Sally,
You rock.  I’ve watched you keep your career spicy, creative and strategic. So impressive.  All your ideas help so many connect to their own creative fire!  You are a rock star.

Sally,
I think this is great.  But it seems the book is missing an entire chapter (Chapter 3).  Or am I mistaken?

Sally Hogshead February 10, 2010 at 8:46 pm

It’s been fixed Brian- thanks for the heads-up!

Considering all the people who are looking to make a career change thanks to the wizards at the Wall Street Casino- this gift may inspire many to “Jump- and a net will appear”
You’ve done your part for the stimulus- thanks Sally.

Sally: I heard about your offer during Zane Safrit’s interview with you. As a social media enthusiast and a radical capitalist (based on a rational philosophy), the book title is music for my ears! :)

This must be divine intervention.  This could not come at a more appropriate time in my ‘what the hell am I going to do after this job’ life deciding moment. Thanks a lot from a ex-pat in Rwanda.

I jumped and a net appeared after seeing you speak in June of 2006. By August I had a quit date set and a new job by September. You are amazing. I owe you my sanity. Thank you.

Just listened to your podcast interview with Mitch Joel. Great stuff and I found the conversation “fascinating.” :) This couldn’t have come at a better time as I’m trying to redefine my career. Thank you for making this book available and I’ll definitely put your new book into my Amazon queue. Cheers!

Love it, but think #12 has to go. More than one successful person has said this so I think there’s some history behind it: “Luck Is Preparation Meeting Opportunity”

Great perspective Sally.  Enjoyed your presentation at TAOM Calgary.  Thanks for the chuckles and the introspection.
